	Summer Parent/Family Orientation Parents and family members of first-year students will participate in a separate Summer Orientation program just for family members during Summer Orientation for freshmen. It is helpful to attend, but not mandatory.
	Homecoming/Family Weekend This annual event is a great opportunity for alumni to come back to campus and for family and friends of current students to experience the Hilltop.

	Visiting Birmingham Explore Birmingham and learn more about our favorite sites, restaurants, and activities to do while you’re in town. Find places to stay while you are visiting your student.
	Parent Giving Every year, through the Hilltop Parent & Family Fund, parents and families play an invaluable role in the growth and positive change happening on campus. This vital fund strengthens our ability to provide one of the country’s most outstanding liberal arts experiences.
	Financial Resources Pay your student's bill, sign up for Person Proxy, and payment due dates can be accessed on the Bursar's site.
	Parents as Partners in Career Success Parental support and encouragement are crucial for academic and career success. Caring and informed parents can play a key role in enhancing the college experience.
	Services There are a number of services available to students ranging from career and major exploration to safety and security.
	Commencement Before you know it, your student will be walking across the stage!
